The Stellenbosch Trail Fund (STF) is a registered non-profit organisation (NPO) entirely funded by donations. Since 2011, our aim has been to create, improve and maintain hiking, biking and running trails in and around the greater Stellenbosch. Our trail team are all full-time employees and they maintain over 50km of trails. Our management team are all volunteers.

STF also looks after the 5km stretch of the Eerste River flowing through town. Our team members work daily to remove alien plants and rubbish, plant trees and maintain the walking paths for the public to enjoy.
